The Art Students League of Denver provides an enriching and creative environment for artistic expression through dialogue, instruction and active learning for students of all ages and abilities, facilitated by nationally recognized artists.
About Us:
A visual arts resource where you can make, buy, sell, teach and support the arts. What makes the Art Students League unique? We are more than a fine arts school, more than a gallery, more than a neighborhood art fair, and more than a space where other arts organizations meet or collaborate.
The League is a non-accredited school where every student has the opportunity to study with regionally and nationally recognized working artists in a wide selection of media. There is no set curriculum, and though students have the freedom to register on a monthly basis, they can have continuity in learning by taking ongoing classes, workshops, lectures and other programs often expand their art appetites by offering classes in specialized areas. In all studio classes, instructors have the latitude to facilitate individualized learning in a style that fits their personal philosophy and integrates demonstrations, study of master artists and critique.
Beyond opportunities to make art, students gain experience in marketing and selling their work in the Summer Art Market, the League galleries, and in our annual fundraising auction, Art & Soul. Outreach into diverse communities is central to the League's mission and realized through partnerships with performing arts groups, public schools, museums and other art centers.
