Mission Statement

The staff at Ashford-Rumble School is committed to providing our students with all "required" learning opportunities "outlined" by the West Virginia State Department of Education and the Boone County Board of Education. In addition to these required learning opportunities, our staff is committed to excellence and the belief that "all students can learn." Therefore, "we" are dedicated to providing supplemental, enrichment, and other innovative activites designed to "enhance" the development of each and every student. We also believe that all skills mandated by the State Instructional Goals & Objectives Program should be introduced and taught to all students in grades K-6. In addition to addresssing the academic development of our students, we strive to address emotinoal, social, and physical development of our students as outlined in our "Social Philosophy." It is our "goal" to involve and hold accountable teachers, service personal, business partners in education, parents, and the community in implementing the Goals and Objectives established for our school.
