Vision And Goals:

A. The Museum should be a showcase facility that any community would desire.
B. The Museum should be a fun, learning environment that connects local people to world events and people of other locales and nations.
C. The Museum should honor the achievements of local individuals that can serve to spark the dreams and ambitions of our children.
D. The Museum should not be a warehouse for antiques. The items in it should have a local connection and meaning.
E. The Museum should be attractive to outsiders that want to learn about the history and life of small town residents.
F. The Museum should be a protective environment that keeps area treasures safe.
G. The Society should provide grants to enable students and teachers in the TVHS District to explore local history.
H. The Society should provide grants and assistance to support creative endeavors and achievements.
I. The Society has a special requirement to publicize, preserve and display the special 17-star U.S. flag in its possession.
