The Asombro Institute for Science Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing scientific literacy by fostering an understanding of the Chihuahuan Desert. The Asombro Institute provides hands-on science education programs for more than 13,000 students throughout southern New Mexico and western Texas each year.

We also are the parent organization of the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park, 56501 N Jornada Rd, Las Cruces. The park is open Tue - Sat; 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
