Avondale Elementary School, in partnership with home and community, provides all students with a standards-based instructional program ensuring academic success and responsible citizenship.
This will be achieved by
* Providing a child-centered, active learning, effort-based environment.
* Recognizing diversity by respecting each child's unique personality, needs, and beliefs.
* Organizing a community of learners that includes students, staff administrators, parents, and community members who work collaboratively.
* Maintaining high standards for a well-trained, positive faculty who will act as role models for the students and community.
Avondale's 3 R Pledge
I pledge to be respectful in all of my actions, responsible for all of my choices and resourceful in all of my decisions.Following the 3 R's, I honor my school, my family and myself.
