AZ Rhythm & Ribs has become the flagship event for the City of Cottonwood bringing national entertainment and a world class rib competition to the Verde Valley.  September 5-6, 2014 marks the 9th year of AZ Rhythm & Ribs State BBQ Championship in Cottonwood Arizona.

This year the AZ Rhythm & Ribs has changed its name to AZ Rhythm & Ribs Country Music Festival. The event has been selected as one of the tour stops for the Great American Cookout, along with 25 professional BBQ competitors; AZ Rhythm & Ribs has become a hot spot for professional BBQ teams, so we are an official Arizona State BBQ Championship. We will be introducing great young country artists like, Austin Webb, Sam Hunt, Benton Blount, Logan Brill,  and Kristian Bush of Sugarland.  Enjoy the Beer Garden with Beer Thirty in the Verde and 25 micro-brews, as well as The Kids Zone with plenty of fun rides and games for the kids to stay entertained.
