Mission:

In what has become a tradition for Azle Christian Church, eighteen ACC members traveled in April to the Port Isabel, Texas area to do construction and other work aiding Good Samaritan Ministries’ La Iglesia Christiana Ebeneezer Church and mission facilities at Los Fresnos.

South West Good Samaritan Ministries, an arm of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), was founded in 1985 in Los Fresnos, TX, to provide assistance to people in need, especially Central American political refugees and other displaced persons. Most of these people arrive at the mission with only the clothing they are wearing, frightened and unable to speak English. Many are malnourished and/or injured, fleeing terror inflicted on them in their native lands.
