Back Beyond Farm
Back Beyond Farm is a small, diversified farm in the hills of Tunbridge, Vermont. In an effort to produce products from the farm on a year-round basis, we engage in a variety of activies. In the spring, we run a small nursery business, specializing in tomato starts. When the summer arives, we plant 3-4 acres of vegetables, along with a 72 foot tomato house. We mow hay for our beef herd as well as for sale. Summer and fall is when we raise most of our meat chickens as well as our Thanksgiving turkeys. Winter has us cutting wood in the woodlot. Eggs from our laying flock are available year-round. We hope that by farming in an honest, sustainable way we can enjoy the benefits of an agricultural life while having the satisfaction of feeding people in our area.
