We are an established year-round "third-party"CSA, community cooperative located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Our mission is to make good food accessible by giving you the tastes to drive your desire to eat better. We network with approx. 125 farms locally, for a farm fresh food delivery once a month. By subscribing, members reap the health benefits of eating local & natural foods while helping to build a sustainable community of growers and producers. Basic Roots was started in December of 2005 to address the issues of the lack of access to good, chemical-free produce and product. . Knowing our farmers is how we know what we're eating and selling. Today we have farmers growing a variety of heirloom crops & more for our group that can't be found anywhere else.
