Mission Statement:

Baywood School is a self consciously principled and caring community of students, staff and parents who share a sense of common purpose and commitment to the learning of every individual.  We believe that learning is a function of the whole child.  While we offer a rigorous, academic curriculum, we also provide learning experiences for our children which embrace our diversity and include the fine arts, character development and social responsibility.  

Baywood's mission is for all members of the Baywood School community, students, parents, teachers, and staff, to work interactively towards a lifelong love of learning, in a respectful, safe, supportive and challenging learning environment.
