STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY

The fundamental purpose of Beatitudes of Our Lord Catholic School is to educate our students to become articulate and knowledgeable adults who live out the Gospel message. Recognizing that parents are the primary educators of their children, we aspire to create community, not simply as a concept to be taught, but as a reality to be lived. In our endeavors to "Teach as Jesus Did" we give substance to our students' academic lives by prioritizing Catholic values in our curriculum.

We strive to build understanding of Catholic values through our involvement in civic, church and school activities. We believe that we affirm our students as God's children when we teach respect for self and others. We provide our students with experiences through which they can grow intellectually and morally.

We understand that our mission to educate the "whole child" is a challenging task and we commit ourselves to the development of our students' religious, academic and physical lives. By our example and dedication to excellence, we strive to develop responsible adults who will give witness to their faith as productive citizens.
