Bensalem Fall Festival

2400 Byberry Road,

The Bensalem Fall Festival “Celebrate Community Pride” was born of Bensalem’s 300th birthday.  The “Tri-Centennial Committee, made up of various volunteers and community activists, thought it appropriate to celebrate Bensalem’s rich heritage dating back to 1692. The date was set for September 15, 1992.

Fundraisers were planned, theatrical plays were scored and the community truly came together for the first celebration, which was rightly called “Pride Day”. Taking pride in ones community and retaining the sense of community is what the first pride day reflected and continues to be the very fabric of the event today.

The very first celebration was small but big with enthusiasm with one food vendor, a bounce ride and a small car show. Fast-forward to now! Each year this event has grown exponentially with the addition of first class entertainment, animal shows, amusements, business and crafter attractions and the best-known fireworks finale in the area during the fall season.

This event is a great way for people to meet neighbors, evaluate businesses and find out what living in a great community really means. Thousands converge on Bensalem’s Central Park located in the heart of the Municipal Complex.

Don’t miss out on what has been spotlighted as the “Best of Bucks”
