About Our School  

Welcome to Berryton Elementary School.  Berryton is a Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school in the Shawnee Heights School District.  Shawnee Heights School District is located in Tecumseh, Kansas, a suburb of Topeka, Kansas.  The enrollment for our school is currently 380 students.  We have a principal, counselor, a comprehensive special education program including gifted education, a reading specialist, a band program that begins in 5th grade and an orchestra program beginning in 4th grade. Grades one through sixth grade have daily physical education and vocal music. Our school has a beautiful library and a great computer lab. Intramural programs are provided for our students and transportation services are available for ALL students.  Berryton is a great school and does well on state and national tests.
