The mentor program at Bethany Christian Services matches adults in one-to-one mentor relationships with children and youth who are receiving services at Bethany. Currently, we have a high need for male mentors. The program is community based meaning that match activities take place out in the community. Match activities might consists of going to the park, working on homework at the library, going out to eat, or many other fun and educational activities in the local community. To give some general requirements, mentors must be 18 years of age, have their own form of reliable transportation, and be willing to give consent for background checks. We also ask that mentors commit to spending a minimum of 4 hours per month with their mentee for at least 12 months.
