The Bethany Presbyterian Church congregation is warm, caring and compassionate with diverse ages, backgrounds, and experiences. The love of God and his Son, Jesus Christ are evident when one joins us for worship.  Organization, leadership and dedication are strong points which help in providing an excellent music program, growing Sunday school and faithful core membership. 

Examples of our Mission Outreach are the Ralph A. Taylor Scholarship Fund, Helping Hearts & Hands, Vacation Bible School, Living Nativity, support of a missionary in Cambodia, day at Dyberry Day Camp, Wayne County Food Pantry, gift baskets to college students during exam time, and worship with the Wayne Woodlands Manor. We also donate hats, mittens to Honesdale's Children and Youth and give Christmas gifts to the families registered with the Wayne County Children's Christmas Bureau.

The Church is centrally located in the village of Bethany with adequate parking available, and is handicap accessible.  Members of the community are welcome to use the David Wilder House for their events, celebrations, and meetings.
