Our Mission:

Our mission of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church is to serve God in all truths. The Church seeks to be a community of love and fellowship where persons unite in the worship of God known in Jesus Christ, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The mission of the Church is to serve God through word and witness; to treat all as Christ has treated all men; and to foster responsible stewardship of all God's creation. The church mission includes introducing people to Jesus Christ and helping them grow to be more like Him.  We strive to educate through biblical teaching and living example.

Our Vision:

Our Vision is that all will be transformed by the word of God and this transformation will be like "wild fire" that spreads throughout the church and the community.  We envision building a community of love givers, hope suppliers, peacemakers, word carriers, dreamers, and God fearing persons who seek to empower the poor, strengthen the weak, embrace the outcast, and seek the lost.

We Believe that change is inevitable in the presence of God.

Our Purpose is to:

Serve God through worship, prayer, and the dedication of our lives to his kingdom.

Serve Each Other by mutual care and support, to encourage everyone to fulfill his or her God-given potential.

Serve The Community by making known the good news about Jesus and the love of GOD by word and deed.

Serve The Church through prayer and practical support, to help spread the good news about Jesus throughout the world.
