Our Purpose and Commitment

We will glorify God by exalting the King, equipping the believing, and evangelizing the unbelieving. We are committed to exalting God by proclaiming the Gospel message and bringing others to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Believing that a godly life is the most effective means to accomplishing this purpose, we gladly submit ourselves to the authority of the Word of God, as the sole source of our teaching, preaching, worship and service. Our ordained task of reaching the lost of our world for Christ demands of us that we be continually building and strengthening the church family. Therefore, we place high priority on equipping our church family by encouraging the mutual nurturing and admonishing of the members, one with another in love. The meeting of the needs of the church family is preparatory to meeting the spiritual needs of a lost and perishing world.

By faith, we are trusting God to enable us to make the plan of salvation known to every household in the Greater Cherry Hill area. Our commitment is to provide a pleasant and adequate facility for training and worship. Given the multi-cultural diversity, the population density, and the transient nature of employment in this area, we are endeavoring to provide opportunity with flexibility for people to engage with us through our diverse program of ministry training and service. Our goal is to disciple people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ whether they are part of the Bethel family for 2 years or 20. Our technique is to address relevant subjects and use current methodology to emphasize the priority of biblical principles for a balanced life. We desire to be known as a community minded, seeker sensitive, body of believers that loves one another, and serves together in unity.
