Mission
We, the staff and community of Bethel Manor, believe that it is our responsibility to provide effective instructional programs and services in all areas to equitably meet the educational needs of all of our students. We continually strive to maximize the potential development of each student intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally through effective and appropriate practices.
History
Bethel Manor Elementary originated as a meteorological station in the 1930’s. The building first opened as a Department of Defense school in 1960. The Air Force contracted with the York County School Board to operate the school in the 1970’s. Currently, the school campus is owned by the United States Air Force and is leased to York County. The building is owned by the York County School Board. Annually, enrollment averages 650 students.
