About Us

Big Valley Joint Unified School District is located in the "high desert" area of the northeastern portion of California. The BVJUSD serves all of the residents in, or near, the four main townships which are; Adin, Bieber, Nubieber and Lookout. The school district is a Lassen County School, but serves residents of both Lassen and Modoc Counties. The Big Valley area is remote and rural. It is mostly agricultural and surrounded by forests.
