About Us

Big Valley Primary School is located atop a small hill in Adin California. The location is an ideal and picturesque setting for the little red "school-house". There is a view of the small town of Adin, including the local park, much of the valley and the surrounding hills and mountains. The playground is adjacent to a pasture that often has a few horses wandering around in it. The school has new playground equipment and asphalt play area, as well as, a large grass covered playing field. The Primary School offers education for kindergarten through the third grade. There is a pre-school classroom on site, operated by the Modoc County Office of Education. Students with special needs are always welcome in the Resource Room provided by the Lassen County office of Education.
