ARTIST STATEMENT
Recognizable, Simple, Elegant best describe Bill Burgess' us of arcs and spirals. These sculptural forms are a language recognized by people of differing culture, religion, and race, and seem to predate history. Spanning 50 years, the persistent use of these forms in art-making brings continuity to his life work.
