Black Oak Clays began because of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP). Being the head coach of our local team, one of the things that we realized is that there was no place to practice or participate in the sporting clay’s discipline. It started with just a few machines to practice off of and quickly grew to becoming an Atlas trap machine dealer for Iowa. I have enough machines for a 10plus station sporting clays course or 5 stand and a skeet field to practice on. Being a sporting clays shooter myself, I enjoy setting some of the fun targets that I have seen over the years.
