About Us:

The Blackland Prairie Artisan & Fibre Faire Committee is a group of experienced business owners, farmers, and fiber artists who share the common goal of promoting the fiber arts in north Texas. Our members have a wide range of experience and expertise in all areas of fiber production and use. We are shepherds, raising sheep, goats, llamas, and alpacas. We are spinners, weavers, knitters, and felters. We are artists who focus on the use of natural fibers in the construction of garments, decorative pieces, and textiles for the home.
