Blue Dragon Taekwondo Academy teaches Kukkiwon style Taekwondo, which is also known as Olympic style Taekwondo, as well as traditional style Taekwondo. Students can select the style that fits their personality. Olympic style Taekwondo fits well for students with competitive nature, while traditional Taekwondo style is preferred by students with the desire to learn the traditional values of Taekwondo.
Blue Dragon Academy is the first school in the bay area to have taekwondo instructors licensed and certified by Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea). In addition, Blue Dragon Academy is the first private Taekwondo school in the world to receive the honor of personal class instruction led by Grandmaster Lee from Kukkiwon during Grandmaster Lee's visit to Blue Dragon Academy.
