About Us:
As individuals, we identify ourselves as Christians. As a group, we identify ourselvs as a church of Christ. This is to emphasize our relationship with Christ. We are of Christ, having been baptized into Christ. "For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ" (Galatians 3:26-27).
We accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God and try to follow it as our only guide in religious matters. We are an independent congregation without any denominational affiliation.
We woship God by following the example of first century Christians in the New Testament. On the first day of the week Acts 20:7) the Lord's Supper is commemorated (1Corinthians 11:24-26), God is praised by singing (Colossians 3:16), prayer is offered (1Timothy 2:1-4), each member has an opportunity to gives as God has instructed (1Corinthians 16:1-2), and the Bible is the basis for all teaching (2 Timothy 4:1-5).
It is our fervent prayer that you will not go to the judgment of Christ without investigating the teachings of the Word of God. We urge you to study the Bible, and follow it as the only infallible guide in religious matters. Any Bible questions that you have are welcomed. We are willing to open the Bible and study with you or give you information to study the Bible on your own. Feel free to ask. It is our earnest desire to go to heaven and to have all go with us.
We extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to visit with us to worship the glorious God of heaven.
We hope to see and hear from you soon.
May the Lord bless you.
