Boulevard Fire Department is a group of volunteer men and women serving to protect the community of Boulevard in fire and medical assistance.

Our recruits are both local from Boulevard and from San Diego and LA areas. As a volunteer organization, our station is manned accordingly.

Not only do our fire fighters protect us on the mountain, but they also respond in need during wild land fire disasters. Our department #87 has been on the fire fronts with the October 2003 Julian fires and again with the Harris Fire in October 2007.

Our 2007-2008 Fire Chief is Geoff Cogle. If you would like information on becoming a fire fighter volunteer, please call the station and leave a message for Geoff.

We always appreciate donations of water, gatorade and financial support to help us with  the on-going costs and needs of the station.
