Mission Statement:

The mission of the Bridgewater Historical Commission is the preservation of the history of Bridgewater.  This is done in many ways but not limited to the following:

1. To encourage the preservation of items that exemplifies life in the town.

2. To encourage and facilitate others to preserve the history of the town.

3. To inform others as the history of the town.

4. To implement all of the powers, rules, goals and regulations as set forth by M.G.L. Chapter 40, section 8D  (Statute by the state empowering the local historical commission).
