About Us :

Founded in 1931, the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of promoting the industrial, commercial, tourism, retiree development, civic and general interests of Lincoln County, Mississippi and its trade area.

In operation for more than 70 years, the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce is comprised of approximately 700 members and is one of the oldest, most successful Chambers of Commerce in the State of Mississippi.

The Chamber of Commerce has an active and successful Industrial Development Foundation (IDF). The IDF is charged with managing the existing industrial park, securing additional industrial park property, existing business/industry relations and to further the economic welfare of Lincoln County with regard to industrial location, development, and expansion through cooperative efforts.

The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce has numerous annual tourist attractions. The Ole Brook Festival is held the fourth weekend in September, the Tour of Homes is held the weekend after Easter, the Christmas Parade is the Thursday after Thanksgiving, our driving tour of beautiful downtown Brookhaven and our famous Victorian District. Other attractions include the Mississippi School of the Arts, antiques, specialty shopping, hunting, fishing and more.

The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of helping retirees relocate to our area. Since 1996, over 50 documented retirees have chosen Brookhaven as their retirement destination. The Chamber of Commerce helped make Brookhaven one of Mississippi's first certified retirement communities.

Finally, the Chamber of Commerce has five major divisions: Internal Affairs, Community Development, Economic Development, Education and Membership Services. Of these divisions, the chamber manages over 20 active committees ranging from Community Appearance to Small Business/Retail. All of these 20 committees are open and available for members to become involved and help make their community a better place to work and live.
