The Burleson County Historical Society assists in the preservation of buildings, historical sites, works of art, documents, papers, pictures, records and writings of historical, traditional and cultural value, and to perpetuate those customs of the people and traditions and folklore which seem to beautify and enrich the community life of Burleson County. From the first explorers along the old Camino Real to the days of the Texas' Revolution and Civil War, on to the influx of Czech immigrants and the emergence of ranching, agriculture and oil booms, we strive to preserve our remarkable and intricate history.
The BCHS is anxious to cooperate with all persons, groups, organizations and agencies in our efforts to promote these objectives, and invite you to contact us if we can be of any assistance with your group or individual projects.
