The California Wool and Fiber Festival (CWFF) was founded in 1997, and is run by a local board of fiber enthusiasts. The mission of the California Wool & Fiber Festival is to keep fiber arts & natural fiber production alive and well: local fiber producers, craftsmen and artists are brought together to display and sell their wares, demonstrate their skills and educate the public about natural fibers and their importance to our community and culture. One of the functions of the CWFF is to host the California National Wool Show at the Mendocino County Fair.
