The Central Texas STARZZ youth basketball program is a 501.c.3 non-profit, volunteer organization, affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).  We are dedicated to promoting the sport of basketball within the Central Texas community.  Since 2009, our organization has enabled dozens of our local kids to participate in a quality and competitive Summer travel basketball program. Our program caters to children in grades 4 through 12 from Copperas Cove, Killeen, Harker Heights, and Fort Hood.  Last year, the Central Texas STARZZ fielded four teams, numbering 40 players and 9 volunteer coaches.  The majority of our kids are military and all but one of our volunteer coaches is active duty or retired military.  Last year, our kids played over 187 games throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia.  

The Central Texas STARZZ receive operating funds through small player participation fees, donations, and fundraising.  The kindness of local businesses, organizations, and individual donations help to support these two programs.
