The Charles City Animal Shelter is a basic pound for the stray dogs, cats, puppies and kittens found loose or without home and human caregiver throughout the county.

The Shelter is open Mondays and Fridays 9am to 10am and Wednesdays 1-2pm.   - - and by Appointment.

The Shelter is located just off Rt. 155 (Courthouse Road) on Munford Road.
