Hello and Welcome to our site! I am Chef Idalee and I have been in business since 1982. I began by producing corporate logos in chocolate and also a chocolate truffle known as the “Idalee’s of Texas” which sold in 23 states around the country. I did that for 9-1/2 years in Houston and then sold off part of the company, and put the rest on hold, to go to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, where I earned my degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. It was quite an honor and memorable experience to learn under such fabulous Master Chefs. I was like a sponge!
After school I returned to Texas and settled in Dallas. I have always had that entrepreneur spirit whether it has been in product development or coaching others on being an entrepreneur. This “Sauce of Diversity” is the “appeal of the deal on the meal”. It enhances the creativity of the Chef, Sous, Cook, or Homemaker. Whether used as is, or as a dipping sauce or as a salad dressing, it has become the “Base you’ll embrace”!
