The Chorale presents four major concerts each season in October, December, March and May, each on two consecutive nights. Annually, a Showcase Concert is presented, where chorale members' talents are highlighted as they step out of the Chorale and into the spotlight in individual and ensemble arrangements. Audiences enjoy a wide variety of music including: jazz groups, operatic arias, popular and silly songs, and instrumentals presented in a cabaret style. This concert is usually complimented by food and a silent auction.
Leatherman, also the artistic director, selects programs, themes, and repertoire with input from the Artistic Committee and audience members. The Chorale sings both a cappella and music accompanied by piano, organ, solo instruments, ensembles, or full orchestra. Our repertoire includes anthems, motets, masses, cantatas, opera choruses, oratorios, show tunes, folk songs, spirituals, and audience sing-a-longs. The Chorale, also, collaborates with other adult, high school and children's choirs and ensembles.
