Cherry Valley is a K-4 building with approximately 410 students. Our free and reduced lunch percentage is appropimately 40% with fluctuation day to day with move ins and outs. We offer an extended day experience to the 10 students most in need kindergartners based on assessments. We offer a transitional first grade to 8 to 10 students who would benefit from a smaller class size and slower pace than a regular first grade classroom.

We have the distinciton of being rated Effective by the Ohio Department of Education. We are a school wide title building with Reading Recovery for first graders and title services for other grades.

Cherry Valley has an active PTA that is supportive of the staff and students. They provide for student birthday recognition with a monthly birthday cake. The PTA provides for teacher and school supplies in and out of the classroom. They have a variety of fundraisers including Market Day.
