Mission :

The mission of the Chicora Elementary School, together with the community, is to provide a quality education, in a safe, caring environment, which enables the student to become a lifelong learner and a responsible member of the family and society.

About Us:

Chicora Elementary is one of three elementary schools in the Karns City Area School District. The current building was renovated in 1997 by adding a new wing and new gymnasium to an existing structure.   Our enrollment averages 560 students with approximately 40 teachers and support staff.  We have an active PTO with very supportive parents.
