North Carolina is blessed to be a very beautiful State and one with a very rich Christian heritage. Here in the southen portion of the "sandhills " of North Carolina we have seen first hand the importance of that lifestyle. Rockingham is located just off  highway 74 between Charlotte and Wilmington. Our Church is located between Mill Road and Airport  Road on Flowers Street.  

Since it was in the State of North Carolina near Murphy at a place known today as Fields of The Wood, that the Church Of God Of Prophecy, accepted its responsibility to be the Church of God, it is only fitting that this same church has been an important part of many lives throughout this State.  Rockingham is no exception. The Church Of God Of Prophecy was organized in this area on May 1, 1932.

The Church Of God Of Prophecy, is a friendly basic Bible believing, Penticostal type congregation that accepts the whole Bible as the Word of God, believing and practicing it's teachings rightly divided with the New Testament as our only rule of faith and practice, government and discipline.
