Mission :
The Purpose of this church is to engage in the study and application of the principles of Truth as taught and demonstrated by Jesus Christ and other seers, prophets and teachers of all ages and to disseminate the same to its members through its churchs.
This church was founded over twenty years ago and has grown in its present location since acquiring the site in 1978. The Church was incorporated by several ministers and members who shared similar beliefs and common spiritual interests. The Church is incorporated in Arizona and recognized as tax exempt. The Church of Spirit Awareness is non-denominational and is a community based independent organization, funded entirely by donation.
Our purpose is to hold and conduct public services, invitational and private meetings, discussions, classes, psychic phenomena and other meetings which the Board of Trustees determines appropriate to promulgate the truths of conscious immortality of the soul, of communication with the ecclesiastical or spiritual world and the temporal world, and of man's spiritual relationship to the Universe.
The interests of the ministers and membership include the study of all psychic phenomena, psychic research and apparition in all phases and to teach the philosophy and ethics of early Christianity as recorded in the Holy Bible and to study and teach all other great religious philosophies. We also conduct classes that teach the philosophy of the Gifts of the Spirit and continued existence of life after death; including the continuity of life beyond the grave and the communication therewith through the manifestation of the Gifts of the Spirit.
Our future plans include the publication and dissemination of books, pamphlets, periodicals and to use any other communication media for the purpose of promulgating the principles as taught by the Church.
Membership in this Church can be obtained by those who indicate their desire and interest by signing an enrollment card and paying one dollar per year membership fee to the Church and supporting its activities and by harmoniously cooperating in searching out and applying the teachings of the Church.
The Church operates exclusively on a volunteer basis. All who serve the Church in any capacity serve without compensation. On occasion special demonstrations or events may be presented, with participation or attendance supported by nominal fees or donations.
