Mission:
"Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." (ASV)
Believe:
- believe that the Old Testament and the New Testament are the Inspired Word of God, and without error in the original writings. The Bible is the complete revelation of His will for Salvation and the supreme and final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
- believe in one God, Creator and sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that they are equal in every divine perfection, power, and authority.
- believe in the Holy Spirit, His personality; His work in creation, regeneration, sanctification and preservation of the believers in Christ; His ministry to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and implement Christ's work of redeeming the lost and empowering the believer for godly living and the exercising of spiritual gifts in the body of Christ called the Church and to a lost world without Jesus as Lord and Savior.
- believe in Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ along and that it is a gift of God and not acquired by works.
- believe in following the command in the Great Commission of Believer's Baptism by immersion as an outward expression of our inward confession of having Christ as our Lord and Savior and as a spiritual affirmation of our cleansing of all our sins and our future resurrection.
- believe in partaking of the Lord's Supper as a Memorial Service in remembrance of God's immeasurable love and Christ's atoning sacrifice for our sins on Calvary. We partake of the bread and cup in communion because we are saved and not as a means to be saved.
- believe that the Great Commission also instructs us to be followers of Christ, which are called disciples, and that our life mission is to personally grow in spirituality and to train all areas of Christian maturity for the equipping of the saints for ministry, for the sharing of the Gospel of Salvation to a lost world, and for everything to be done for the Glory of God.
- believe that God is Holy and Just; therefore He will reward all good and punish all evil, which means there will be degrees of rewards for Christians determined by Christ at the Judgment Seat of Christ and there will be degrees of punishment for those who have rejected Jesus Christ as Savior at the White Thrown Judgment and all the prophetic promises stated in the Bible regarding the future and all eternity will be literally fulfilled.
