About Us:
Built around Serpent lake in the heart of Cuyuna Country, the Crosby area offers dozens of beautiful natural lakes and Minnesota's newest lakes. Today, the mines have closed and are filled with crystal-clear water, and the hills of overburden are covered in poplar and spruce. More than half our city is located within the 5,000 acre Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area, which has more than 24 miles of natural shoreline, seven miles of paved bike trail, and nearly 25 miles of world-class, IMBA certified mountain bike trails. Crosby is also home to one of the finest medical facilities in the entire region. The Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, whose promotional slogan is “Crosby Cares," employs more than 700 people and is the county’s third largest employer. Heartwood Senior Living, the Hallett Cottages and the Crosby Eye Clinic contribute to our healthcare-based economy.
The lake is well known for some of the finest walleye, northern pike, trout and panfish in Minnesota.
