Mission:

The mission of the City Secretary is to provide support and coordination assistant to the Mayor, City Council and Administrative staff; assure compliance with the Texas Open Meets law for all public meetings of the City; maintain the official records of City Council meets acts and contractual commitments; conduct the elections for the City; and receive and file claims for damages in all accordance with the City Charter and State statute.
