The town of Mammoth is situated in the southeastern corner of Pinal County, Arizona. It is located 47 miles northeast of the city of Tucson and 120 miles southeast of the city of Phoenix. The town is located along State Route 77,which traverses the center of town. To the nort of Mammoth, Arizona, State Route 77 provides access to the city of Globe. The town of Mammoth is located along the San Pedro River, between the Black Hills to the west and the Galiuro Mountains to the east.Mammoth is tied into a regional network of state highways, which allows for easy accessibility to the larger metropolitan areas of Arizona and the southwestern United States.
