It is my pleasure as the current mayor of St. Elmo to welcome you to our fair city and I hope that through this website you will learn a little more about what the city of St. Elmo has to offer. St. Elmo has always and will always be a city strong in its families. From the earliest settlers to the current residents, family and family members are what make us a strong community, from the biggest to the smallest and on to all extended branches. We care about each other and we want to see each other thrive beyond our highest hopes.Although we don't all work here in town, this is the place where we all come home every night. This is where our kids go to school, play ball, swim, put on plays and go to church. We strive to constantly keep the community growing and reaching forward towards our future.Right now we are having a much needed resurgence within the city limits. New businesses and new ideas are happening! Things are happening and it is with that family spirit that we work together to help our community to get better and better. Take time to look us over and get caught up in the excitement.
