The Clearwater Historical Society is a non-profit organization intent on documenting and promoting the rich history of Clearwater, Florida. We collect and preserve artifacts, provide our knowledge to educational facilities and the public, and designate, chronicle and preserve historic sites. Our most recent project is the restoration of South Ward School, a historic landmark in downtown Clearwater that will soon be home to a new museum. The grand scale of this project will require resources in the form of volunteers and funds; stay tuned for more information. For now, you canbecome a member or donate to the society.
