Clinton County Office for Aging is the advocacy, planning, and coordinating agency for senior citizens. OFA's mission is to understand and strive to meet the needs of the citizen's through direct services and referrals to various agencies.

 

The goal of The Office for The Aging (OFA), Ambassador Program is to educate seniors and people with disabilities about organizations who offer public programs. This objective is overseen by The OFA, as it monitors The Ambassador Program. These public benefits are made more visible by devoted Ambassadors'. They accomplished this through various means, such as a focus directory, public events,  face to face contact and New York Connects dedicated hotline.  

These programs are developed to assist the community by helping people improve their quality of life.

OFA Ambassadors are a group of citizens' who enjoy informing people about various public programs. People come from a variety of backgrounds to offer personalized assistance.

Our Ambassadors share a desire to provide individuals' with pertinent information so that, they can determine if a particular program meets their needs. By helping individuals' learn more about specific programs, we also help the community!

We help bridge the gap between the agencies offering assistance to those people who need it!
