American legion post 40 and the VFW8058 are having a stand down, on april 2 2011  for homeless veterans and homeless, we are in need of clothing in good condition, can food non-perishable items such as can veggies,soups,  can meat, can fruit, stews,chili,etc,  all items can be dropped off at either American legion post 40 at 810 S. U.S 1 Fort Pierce across the street from deals and family dollar, or at VFW8058 3475 Douglas rd Fort Pierce, take virginia ave to south 35 st, on the corner of south 35 and kurby loop rd.,  all items are in need before march 19th 2011so we can account of what we have to give , mens and womens clothes from small to extra large are in major need,  we need to help our homeless, they are in need as everyone else, we are allowing them to come in to vfw 8058 april 2nd to shower, shave, and get a good meal, and help them with any necessary help we can give to organizations, to  clinic's that can help them if they have any major health issues, this event is very important to us and any charitable donation  well be most gracious,  i thank everyone for reading and if they are able to help out, any other info please contact VFW 8058 ladies auxiliary at 772-464-1675 OR American legion post 40 at 772-461-1480, thank you very much. please help support our veterans!!!!!
