The mission statement provides a focal point for identifying a church's purpose, the reason for its existence. It is the biblical and theological standard for determining effectiveness. The statement functions as a North Star to give direction.
Because of God's love and Christ's death for the remission sin, we make this mission statement to glorify God:
The purpose of our church is:
-To be a Christian church, filled with the Holy Spirit allowing us to love and care for all people.
-To witness for Christ by proclaiming the good news to all people in our church and community.
-To join all churches in sharing the word among all men and all nations.
In order for the church family to be most effective, we must have a good program of Baptist doctrine, as well as the tangible resources necessary to put the doctrine into practice.
