The Colchester Business Association was organized in 1981 by several business owners who were interested in addressing business concerns arising within the Town of Colchester, CT.

The purpose and mission of the CBA is:

To promote and encourage businesses to locate in Colchester

To provide support and assistance to local businesses through such activities as educational seminars, public relations, and sponsoring promotional events

To serve as a liaison between the business community and the local municipal government, its boards, agencies, and commissions

To foster cooperation and to encourage an exchange of ideas among and between local businesses

To foster good relations between the town and the business community
