Since our cooperative opened in 1974, our mission has been to promote the arts in the Pikes Peak region. Forty local artists offer examples of their creativity here. Our collective energy is focused on gallery events, community events, the Annual Holiday Market and our annual Labor Day Arts and Crafts Festival. Commonwheel has been recognized as a significant resource in the arts community by various groups including the Pikes Peak Arts Council and the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce.
