MISSION

The Community Center of St Bernard is a grassroots nonprofit organization that serves disaster survivors in St Bernard Parish, Louisiana, and the surrounding area. The Community Center's efforts are focused on empowering families who are working to rebuild their lives after by providing them with direct local access to the factual information and practical resources they need in a safe and all-inclusive setting.

The nonprofit Community Center of St Bernard provides a wide variety of resources to local residents. Free services available include canned food, hot meals, clothes, internet access, phone calls, computer classes, medical care, legal aid, food stamp sign ups, Road Home help, Senior Citizen employment assistance, prenatal care, emotional counseling and crisis support.
